Mr. Taavi Rõivas
Mr Taavi Rõivas is the Vice-President of the Estonian Parliament and the previous Prime Minister of Estonia from 2014 – 2016, the youngest and one of the most dynamic Prime Ministers in European Union. During his service as a Prime Minister of this open minded and rapidly developing country, Mr Taavi Rõivas passionately stood up for developing Estonia as the most digitally advanced country that has the best business climate in Europe.
He has spoken at several international conferences about the digital advancements of Estonia and why is it important for states to pay more attention to this in todays’ interconnected world. During his tenure, Estonia started with the ground breaking e-Residency programme that opens up the Estonian state’s digital services to everyone in the world. It is used mostly for conducting location independent business and for secure online authentication. The programme has attracted way over 20,000 people across the world to become e-Residents of Estonia.
Mr Rõivas is joining with a business delegation of 27 Estonian companies. The technology companies business delegation entails in itself the brightest minds from Estonia in fintech, healthtech, cyber security, venture capital companies, digital marketing, start-up companies and many others.
